This INTERMEDIATE crochet pattern is written in US terms and is perfect for those who know their way around a stitch and aren’t afraid of a little bit of sewing. Don’t worry—plenty of photos are included to guide you along the way.
Materials
125 grams size 4 worsted weight yarn in off-white, brown
60 grams size 4 worsted weight yarn in army green
Scrap amounts size 4 worsted weight yarn in black, red, and any random bits for hair
We used Bernat Handicrafter 100% cotton
Crochet hook size G/4.00 mm (or size needed to obtain gauge)
Tapestry needle
Stitch marker
Fiberfill
3-4 mismatched buttons (ONLY if the doll is intended for humans over 3 years old)
Pattern Notes
Voodoo Dolly’s legs, body, and head are worked in one piece from the bottom up—because who likes sewing if they don’t have to?
Worked in continuous rounds.
Stands roughly 8 inches tall—small but mighty.
That adorable little bum? It magically appears, but you’ll need to stuff and shape it for the full effect.
Buttons for eyes? ONLY if this isn’t a baby’s first hex.
