Materials Needed:

• 100g size 4 (worsted weight) yarn: Red, White, Black.
• 50g size 4 yarn: Red, Skin Tone, Yellow, Orange.
• Size H 5.00 mm and size G 4.00 mm crochet hooks.
• Tapestry needle.
• Fiber fill.
• Stitch marker.
• 2 black buttons (for ages 3+ only).
• Scrap of red fabric (felt or polar fleece) – 4x4 inches.

Notes:

• Legs, body, and head are worked as one piece with two strands of yarn held together.
• Worked in continuous rounds from bottom to top.
• Arms, cape, and top of the hat are worked separately and sewn on.
• Finished piece stands approximately 11 inches tall.
• Bulky (size 5) yarn may be substituted for the two strands of worsted weight yarn held together.
