This crochet pattern is for an adorable little pocket-sized Grimace!

This easy (but not beginner) crochet pattern is written in US terms and is designed for crocheters with a solid understanding of simple stitches and who don’t mind a bit of sewing. Lots of photos are included to help you along the way.
You will need:
30 grams of size 3 DK yarn in Dark Purple
Scrap amounts of size 3 DK yarn in Light Purple, Black
Crochet hook size D/3.00 mm (or size needed to obtain gauge)
Tapestry needle
Stitch marker
Fiber fill
2 small buttons (ONLY if Grimace is for someone over 3 years old)
Black acrylic paint
Glue
Notes:
Grimace’s body and head are worked in one piece from the top down.
Grimace is worked in continuous rounds.
Limbs are worked separately and sewn on.
Grimace stands roughly 4 inches tall.
If gifting to a child under 3 years, embroider the eyes.
