This crochet pattern is for an adorable little hippo with some cute, squishy buns!

This easy crochet pattern is written in US terms and is designed for crocheters with a solid understanding of simple crochet, and who don't mind a little bit of sewing. Lots of photos are included to help you along the way.
Materials
• 125 grams size 4 worsted weight yarn in grey
• Scrap amount size 4 worsted weight yarn in black, cream
• We used Bernat Handicrafter 100% cotton
• Crochet hook size G/4.00 mm, or size needed to obtain gauge
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch marker
• Fibre fill
• 2 x 1/4-inch black buttons ONLY if piece is intended for people over 3 years of age.
Notes
• Hippo's legs, body and head are worked in one piece from the bottom up.
• Hippo is worked in continuous rounds
• Hippo stands roughly 9 inches tall.
• Hippo's buns magically appear but you'll need to stuff and shape them.
• Buttons may only be used for eyes if piece is intended for people over 3 years of age.
