Barry the Frog in a Strawberry Sweater – Crochet Pattern
An original design by Fat Lady Crochet.
Please note: This is a crochet pattern, NOT the finished Barry. If you want him in your life, you’ll have to make him yourself—luckily, he’s worth it.
This EASY (but not beginner) crochet pattern is written in US terms and is designed for those who know their way around a stitch and don’t mind a little sewing. Plenty of photos are included to help you along the way.
You Will Need:
- 40 grams each size 3 DK yarn in Green, Pink
- Scrap amounts size 3 DK weight yarn in Black, Red, Light Green
- Crochet hook size 3.0 mm
- 2 black buttons (ONLY if Barry is intended for humans over 3 years old)
- Tapestry needle
- Fiberfill
- Stitch marker
Pattern Notes:
- Barry’s legs, body, and head are worked in one piece—less sewing, more fun.
- Worked in continuous rounds from the bottom up.
- His eyes and arms are worked separately and sewn on—don’t forget the finishing touches!
- The finished Barry is approximately 6 inches tall—a perfect palm-sized companion.
