This pattern pack features two patterns, one for a Nanaimo Bar and one for a Butter Tart, with both patterns including some basic sewing and assembly of separate pieces. The Nanaimo Bar is made in rows, and the Butter Tart is made in rounds.

Whether you’re creating these for yourself or putting them out to sell at the craft markets, these two patterns provide clear, step-by-step guidance from start to finish.

Materials:

• 15 grams each size 3 (DK) yarn in Delicious Beige, Caramel, Chocolate and Custard Yellow
• Scrap amounts size DK yarn in Pink, Black (we used Hobbii 100% cotton yarn, size 8/8)
• Crochet hook size D/3.00 mm
• Yarn needle
• Stitch marker
• 2 half-inch black buttons for each treat (only if treats are intended for people over 3 years of
• age)
• White acrylic paint
• Fiber fill
• Optional hot glue

Finished Sizes:

The Nanaimo Bar should be 2 inches long and the Butter Tart should be 2 inches across when both are made with suggested materials.
